INTRODUCTION

Kemiko Stain is not a pigment or coating stain. Since it chemically reacts with the lime in the cement of concrete, the color will not be uniform. The staining process will create a natural stone or mottled appearance. “Clear” Kemiko Wax will produce an enriched low buffed sheen whereas Kemiko colored waxes will create a darker, more uniform appearance. Kemiko Stone Tone Sealer will create a considerably darker, more uniform wet glassy look.

STONE TONE STAIN – CONCENTRATED FORMULA – DO SAMPLES BEFORE APPLYING

Kemiko Stone Tone Stains are not paint. They are made from an acid solution, wetting agents and metallic ions, and this stain when mixed with water reacts (chemically combines) with the concrete to form permanent, long lasting colors that will not fade, chip or peel, Because this is not an exact pigmented coloring technique, the results can not be guaranteed. The product is guaranteed to be manufactured properly.

STONE TONE WAX

Kemiko Wax is designed for use on porous surfaces (primarily interior) that are unaffected by contact with mineral spirits, such as new and old concrete, unglazed brick and tile, flagstone, and unsealed wood. Wax enhances the depth of color and provides surface protection. The wax is water and dirt resistant.

Coverage: 250-350 sq. ft. per gallon depending upon the porosity of the surface.

Stone Tone Non Yellowing Sealer

Designed to penetrate and seal pores, providing easy maintenance for colored and uncolored concrete, brick, slate, unglazed tile, terrazzo and all types of stone. It is oil resistance and dust proof so that greasy substances can be removed with ease to preserve and retard water. It can be used on patios, walks driveways, garage floors, terraces and hearths.

Stone Tone Clear will not amber. It may be applied to white or off-white surfaces and it enhances color and texture by developing the natural beauty of material as they appear when wet. It withstands sun, moisture and heavy traffic. It should not be used on showers, linoleum, asphalt, vinyl, or rubber tile floors.

Coverage: 300-400-sq. ft. per gallon with the first coat. 200-sq. ft. per gallon with the second coat but will vary due to the porosity of the concrete.

Sta Crete 1600 (Water Extended Epoxy Coating)

Sta-Crete 1600 is a quality abrasion resistant amine cured water extended epoxy coating that offers low-VOC , has excellent adhesion, surface tolerance, low odor, and is designed to be used as a thin film resilient primer/finish. Sta-Crete 1600 is USDA acceptable in food processing facilities, cures overnight and is available in various colors.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING

Kemiko Products are classed as “Hazardous Materials”. Shipping and handling cost vary ($70.00 - $125.00) this is based primarily on quantity, shipper, and destination. Shipments can be more costly when shipped by United Parcels as U.P.S. requires gallons be broken down into liter bottles creating added expense, yet U.P.S. still may cost less than a regular freight company. We will always attempt to find the least expensive carrier to deliver your products.

WARRANTY

The following warranty is made in lieu of all other warranties, either expressed or implied. These products are manufactured of selected raw material by skilled technicians. Neither seller nor manufacturer has any knowledge or control concerning the purchaser’s use of the products and no warranty is made as to the results of any use. The only obligation of either seller or manufacturer shall be to replace any quantity of these products proved to be defective. Any claim of defective product must be received in writing with one (1) year from the date of shipment. Neither seller nor manufacturer assumes any liability for injury, loss or damage resulting from the use of these products.

Return policy – Product may be returned within 30 days from date of purchase. No open or partially used product can be returned. All products must be in original containers and not damaged. Any sign of freezing, can or bottle damage becomes property of the purchaser. A 20% restocking fee will the applied after 30 days.

Q: I've applied the stain but don't see any color.
A: This is a chemical reaction that is looking for the minerals in your particular concrete slab. You will not be able to see color until you apply one of our sealants.

Q: The stain is just sitting up on top of the concrete.
A: You probably have sealed concrete, which needs to be striped with either a paint or adhesive remover.

Q: My floor doesn't look like the brochure picture or sample floor we saw.
A: Each slab is different. The mottled effect is achieved based on the minerals in your particular slab.
